Signed to Bad Boy via a production deal with Ryan Leslie's Next Selection Entertainment, Cassie had one of the biggest songs of 2006: "Me & U." The smash single topped charts in the US and abroad, claiming the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hip Singles Chart. "Me & U" sold nearly 1 million digital tracks and helped her debut album scan 3000,000 copies in the US. Cassie was also seen on her first movie, Step Up 2 The Streets.
